OKLAHOMA CITY -- One-third of the trash in landfills comes from consumer packaging and now one cosmetic company is making sure cosmetics stay out of landfills by recycling them.

It's a nationwide cosmetics recycling program from Origins brand called "Return to Origins." You can bring in any cosmetic product from any brand and Origins will recycle it for you.

"Women own average of 12 products each, multiply that by the number of women and most women don't recycle these products because it's really complicated, so Origins is making it easy," said Linda Wells, Editor-in-Chief of Allure magazine.

Drop off old cosmetic products at any Origins locations. Find a location and join the Return to Origins Recycling Program.
