OKLAHOMA CITY -- As part of wellness week, State leaders are talking about the important role small businesses play in helping Oklahomans get health insurance.
Estimates show around 640 thousand Oklahomans do not have health insurance and 75 percent of those people are employed by small businesses. State health officials say a growing program called Insure Oklahoma is targeting these workers for health care coverage.
NEWS 9's parent company Griffin Communications LLC has partnered with the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to promote Insure Oklahoma so that more working Oklahomans can afford to have quality health insurance coverage.
