From News9 Meteorologist Stephanie Malone...
Today and tomorrow should prove to be lovely days for outdoor activities before a stormy end to the week.
Highs today will reach the lower 70s across the state under mostly sunny skies with light winds from the south at 5 to 15. Tonight will also be very mild with lows only reaching the lower 50s.
Tomorrow fire risk will be elevated with temperatures topping out in the mid 70s and southerly winds at 15 to 30 miles per hour with higher gusts.
The end of the week will be stormy with a chance for thunderstorms Thursday through Sunday. Lows will be in the 40s to 50s and highs will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s for the end of the work week and the weekend. With the thunderstorms comes a chance for some severe weather Thursday and Friday.
