OKLAHOMA CITY - Two lanes of the Crosstown Expressway will be closed until 3 p.m. today while crews repair a hole in the bridge.

The two left lanes of westbound Interstate 40 are closed between Interstate 235 and Classen Boulevard.

Crews are repairing a hole in the bridge just east of Classen. Motorists are urged to find an alternate route.

It's the second consecutive day a part of the Crosstown has closed for repair. On Tuesday, crews repaired a hole in an eastbound lane between Western and Robinson avenues.

Meanwhile, construction continues on the Interstate 40 relocation project. When complete, the project will replace the aging Crosstown Expressway bridge in downtown with a modern highway closer to the Oklahoma River.
