A frontal system is producing rain and higher elevation snow showers across portions of the Pacific Northwest and the northern Rockies. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are also being found across the Plains and the Southeast. High pressure is providing clear to partly cloudy skies and dry conditions from the Great Lakes to the Northeast.
