After a warm and dry week, a chance for showers and thunderstorms has been reintroduced back into the forecast for the holiday weekend. Today highs will get up into the lower 80s with a light east wind and a 20% chance for some storms later this afternoon.
The chance for isolated storms goes up to 40% for the holiday weekend. The most likely time for storms will be in the mid afternoon into the evening. Lows will continue to be in the lower 60s, highs in the lower 80s with light winds.
A slight chance for storms will continue into the early part of next week, but will taper off by Thursday.
