The flood waters continue to inch up near Jacksonville, Florida Thursday
after a storm dropped almost two feet of rain causing concern to local
residents.

In Middleburg, Florida along the Black Creek the common form of travel was by
boat or pontoon as  the storm continues pushing along the entire Atlantic
Coastline.

The effects of wicked weather could be seen all over Clay County. Steady rain
closed parts of several roads.

Officials from Clay County Emergency Management say residents along Black
Creek are being advised to move whatever possible to higher ground. Officials
expect the creek to crest at sixteen feet but warn the number could climb with
more rain.

The rains began earlier this week and forecasters are predicting the wet stuff
will continue into next week.
