From News9 Meteorologist Stephanie Malone...

A few storms linger around the state this morning, but the main threat for strong storms won't begin until later this afternoon through tonight along a cold front.  Temperatures will get up into the mid 80s this afternoon with a southerly wind at 10 to 20.  Later in the afternoon a cold front will move into northwestern Oklahoma, triggering off storms.  Storms will continue to make their way through the state later this evening through tonight along the cold front as it moves from northwest to southeast Oklahoma.  These storms include a risk for severe weather with the main threats including damaging wind, hail and possibly flooding.

After the storms exit the state tomorrow morning, we will have cooler air in place for the next couple of days.  Winds will be from the north tomorrow under partly cloudy skies with highs only getting into the lower 70s.  Thursday and Friday highs will gradually increase into the low to mid 80s before another hot weekend is in store.
