Scattered showers and thunderstorms are occurring over the Ohio
Valley, the Mid-Atlantic region and the Southeast as a frontal system extends
through the region. High pressure is producing sunshine from the Northeast to
the Great Lakes. A few showers are occurring over the central Plains, while
the rest of the Plains have sunny to partly cloudy skies. The Southwest has
mostly sunny skies, while showers and thunderstorms are occurring over
portions of the Rockies and the West Coast.
