Funnel clouds were spotted over downtown Denver, Colorado Sunday afternoon causing people attending the Colorado Rockies game to be moved to
safety.
The Rockies were hosting the Seattle Mariners at Coors Field. The National
Weather Service issued a tornado watch for the Denver metro area and warning
sirens were activated.
When the funnel clouds were spotted, the game was stopped and people in the
stadium seats were moved to the concourses.
After the storm moved east of Denver, the baseball game resumed.
