Movie Shoot Continues in Cordell

CORDELL, Oklahoma - Filming of "The Killer Inside Me" is underway in Cordell.

Shooting of the movie starring Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba began a few weeks ago in Guthrie.

Crews began filming in Cordell Thursday after a few weeks of preparing the two. The town of 2500 has had a huge boost from the $10 million film, including repainted signs for the 1950s setting.

Most of the town square around the courthouse is blocked off. Filming in Cordell is expected to wrap up this weekend.

In addition to Guthrie and Cordell, filming will also take place in Enid, Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
