Happy 4th of July friends! Regardless of whether or not your holiday festivities get delayed by weather, it still is great to celebrate living in a free nation.

Showers and isolated thunderstorms will be ongoing during the morning hours across northern and central Oklahoma. Several small surface boundaries will be produced by these storms, and will interact with a cold front this afternoon to produce additional showers and thunderstorms. Storms that develop along these boundaries may become severe, producing large hail and damaging straight line winds. Rain and storms will gradually end from north to south, as the cold front advances towards the Red River Valley overnight.
