Driver Dies After Crashing Car Into Embankment

OKLAHOMA CITY - A driver was killed this afternoon after driving their car on an embankment on a canal near Lake Overholser.

Police were called to the scene after a city worker saw the car driving on a bike trail that runs along the canal.

The car left the trail and crashed into an embankment. The driver died at the scene.

The driver's name was not released.
