OKLAHOMA CITY -- Mick Cornett said that he plans to decide if he will seek another term as Oklahoma City mayor in the next 60 days.
Cornett was first elected in 2004 and re-elected in 2006. Cornett has been considered a possible candidate for the Congressional seat Mary Fallin is vacating to run for governor.
"The focus of our decision making is about whether or not I want to run for another term as mayor," he said. "If I choose not to run as another term as mayor, then I guess we could look at these opportunities. I'm not weighing this against the other."
Cornett lost to Fallin in the 2006 primary for the District 5 Congressional seat.
