OKLAHOMA CITY -- Several lucky, special needs children got a chance to meet Santa Thursday at Northpark Mall in Oklahoma City.
The kids were able to sit on Santa's lap to run down everything on their wish list before taking a free picture.
Santa said he looks forward to the event all year long just about as much as the kids do.
"I see the brightness in their eye. I think up they light up when they see Santa Clause. They know it's a special event, and it just makes Christmas really what it is," the visiting Santa said.
Santa is visiting Northpark Mall throughout the month of December. The cost of a small picture is $5, and all proceeds benefit the Northwest Oklahoma City Rotary Club.
Wednesday, a "signing" Santa was at the mall to visit with kids who are hearing impaired.
