OKLAHOMA CITY -- A springtime weather regime will embrace Oklahoma from now until late Tuesday when a moderate cool front will give us a break.
Today we'll be warm and windy with a risk of thunderstorms, mainly in northwest Oklahoma. Tonight may see a few thunderstorms across northern Oklahoma. Tuesday afternoon and evening there will be a risk of severe thunderstorms east of a line from Cherokee to Hobart. This includes the Oklahoma City area.
The storm system looks normal for this time of year with scattered showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Tuesday into Tuesday evening. As usual, weather risks will include large hail, damaging straight winds and the possibility of a few tornadoes.
We'll have really nice weather Wednesday through Saturday.
