FORT SUPPLY, Oklahoma -- Flames burning near Fort Supply Lake engulfed nearly 1,900 acres in Woodward County.
Hundreds of firefighters battled the flames, but it was huge water drops from a helicopter that finally snuffed out the fire.
Firefighters' hard work spared two bald eagle nests near Fort Supply Lake.
Seven people were evacuated from their homes due to the heavy smoke. No structures were damaged in the fire.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is not known.
