Driver Slams into Side of Shopping Center

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A wall stopped a woman from driving into a shopping center Friday evening when she smashed into the side of the building.

The front end of the driver's van punched a hole in a building at the Mayfair shopping center on North May Avenue.

Police said the driver misjudged a curve and crashed. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Experts will determine if the damaged wall is strong enough to remain standing.
