John Sullivan to Run Against Independent Angelia O'Dell for U.S. House District 1

OKLAHOMA CITY -- John Sullivan will run against Independent Angelia O'Dell for the U.S. House in District 1.

Sullivan has been a Congressman since 2002.

Sullivan won by over 64 percent of the vote. His opponents were Craig Allen, Nathan Dahm, Fran Moghaddam, Kenneth Rice and Patrick Haworth.

The four-term Congressman touted his A+ rating with a national immigration reform group and this work to allow Tulsa County officials to check the immigration status of everyone who is arrested during campaigning.

Sullivan had to fly to Washington on Tuesday to cast a supplemental vote for the war in Afghanistan and planned to address his supporters by telephone later in the evening.
