Grass Fire Approaches Homes Near N.W. 234th and Council Road

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Fire crews battled a large grass fire near N.W. 234th and Council Road Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters said the fire approached structures in the area, but no structures have been damaged at this time.

Deer Creek and Oakcliff fire crews responded to the fire.

Low humidity and winds gusts helped feed the fire. Winds have been around 16 mph today with gusts of up 25mph.

No injuries were reported.
