Grandmother Dies from Injuries After Lawton House Fire

LAWTON, Oklahoma -- A house fire in Lawton that killed a 3-year-old last Wednesday now claimed the life of her grandmother.

Fifty-four-year-old Debra Pewewardy succumbed to injuries from the blaze Monday.

Her granddaughter La'Mya Pewewardy also died in the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
