State Troopers Release Name of Man Killed on I-35

OKLAHOMA CITY – State troopers have released the name of a man struck and killed while walking on I-35 early Thursday morning.

Troopers said 40-year-old Brian King was hit near S.E. 89th Street just after 2 a.m. He sustained massive internal and external injuries and died at the scene.

A witness told NEWS 9 she saw King was running across I-35. She said she slammed on her brakes, but someone else drove around her, hit King and drove off.

Authorities have not released any details about the driver.
