Moore Police Officer Involved in Crash

MOORE, Oklahoma – A patrol car collided with another vehicle Friday on Eastern near N.E. 12th Street in Moore.

Police told NEWS 9 the Moore police officer was responding to reports of a possible drunk driver in the area. The call was not an emergency so he was driving without running his emergency lights are sirens.

Police said the other vehicle turned in front of the officer's patrol car and the two vehicles crashed into each other.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Two passengers sustained unknown injuries.

The police officer was not seriously injured.
