A large grass fire in Logan County engulfed several acres and destroyed one structure Saturday afternoon.

LOGAN COUNTY, OKlahoma -- A large grass fire in Logan County engulfed several acres and destroyed one structure Saturday afternoon.

The structure was completely destroyed at Cornforth and Western Avenue just south of Forest Hills. Fire officials said the structure was an old house that had been converted into a workshop.

Multiple departments including Oak Cliff, Deer Creek, Cashion, and Edmond Fire Departments responded to the blaze just southwest of Guthrie.

About 30 acres of land was scorched.

Fire investigators are still working to determine how the fire started.
