Motorcyclist in Poker Run Injured in Harrah Crash

A motorcyclist suffered head injuries Sunday after clipping another motorcycle as they were making a turn. The accident happened during a group poker run, authorities say.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A motorcyclist riding in a poker run crashed at about 2 p.m. Sunday after clipping another motorcyclist at N.E. 23rd Street and Harrah Road, according to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department.

The man, who is in his mid-40s, was transported to OU Medical Center by helicopter with head injuries.

Authorities say the motorcyclists were westbound on N.E. 23rd Street about to turn north onto Harrah Road when the accident took place.

The victim's condition is not yet known. He was not wearing a helmet, according to Public Information Officer Mark Myers.
