CHOCTAW, Oklahoma -- One Oklahoma 16-year-old is taking on a big challenge this fall. He is trying to raise enough money to feed 500 people for Thanksgiving as part of a challenge from church camp.

After calling the City Rescue Mission, Eric Ringwald learned it would cost around $3,500 to feed 500 people.

So far, he has raised more than $600 but with a busy schedule, he is asking for help to reach his goal.

"I'm getting help from my church. I'm just trying to stay faithful in it. I'm just keeping my mind set on it," Ringwald said.

If you would like to give money for Eric's challenge, you can make a donation to Harmony Christian Church in Choctaw, located at 7100 S. Choctaw Road.

The church has offered to write a check to City Rescue Mission and help feed those 500 people this Thanksgiving.
