OKLAHOMA CITY -- A visitor to Oklahoma City was the victim of two crimes in less than 24 hours.

First someone broke into the woman's car and stole her purse. Inside her purse was her hotel room key.

Surveillance video showed the thieves walking up to the woman's room, knocking to make sure no one was there, and then they let themselves in. A few minutes later the thieves walked out of the victim's room with what appeared to be a laptop.

Police said this may not be the couple's first crime.

"We understand there have been several auto burglaries in this area recently. Obviously, they could be responsible for more than just this incident," said Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.

Anyone with information about the crimes should call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
