Victim in Attempted Carjacking Near Downtown Identified

Oklahoma City Police have identified the victim in a shooting during what may have been an attempted carjacking near downtown Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Police have identified the victim in a shooting during what may have been an attempted carjacking near downtown Oklahoma City.

Police said Owen Wright was shot in the head in the 1100 block of N. Linwood Monday while working inside a vacant home.

Wright was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Oklahoma City Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said a suspect's photo was placed in a photo line up, but Wright was not able to positively identify him.

On Monday, the suspect was described as a black male, 170 pounds and was likely between the age of 25 to 30 years old.
