OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police shot and killed an escaped cow near N.W. 14th and McArthur Avenue Thursday afternoon.
The wayward animal was first reported in Bethany but soon wandered into west Oklahoma City.
Animal control officers tried to sedate the bull by tranquilizing it. But when it charged at Oklahoma City police officers, police were forced to shoot it.
