Governor-Elect Fallin Names Chief Of Staff

Oklahoma Gov.-elect Mary Fallin is appointing her longtime aide to serve as her chief of staff in the governor's office.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma Gov.-elect Mary Fallin is appointing her longtime aide to serve as her chief of staff in the governor's office.

Fallin on Wednesday named Denise Northrup to the post. Northrup worked as Fallin's campaign manager and previously served as district director in Fallin's congressional office.

Northrup is a former Oklahoma Republican Party official and worked on Fallin's campaigns for lieutenant governor and when she ran for Congress in 2006 and 2008.
