OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man convicted of a deadly stabbing outside a southwest Oklahoma City bar will spend the next 20 years behind bars.
Tuesday night, a jury found Alan Jenkins guilty of manslaughter. Prosecutors said Jenkins argued with Dieter Roll outside Cyd's Bar in January 2009. Jenkins stabbed Roll, who later died at the hospital.
The jury could have convicted Jenkins of murder, but they decided upon the lesser charge of manslaughter. The judge immediately sentenced him to 20 years in prison.
