Memorial Service Held For Slain Oklahoma City Mother

EDMOND, Oklahoma -- Friends and family remembered slain Oklahoma City mother Julie Mitchell Wednesday. A memorial service was held Wednesday afternoon at LifeChurch.tv in Edmond.

The 34-year-old was found in her home by her stepson last Tuesday. Her death has been ruled a homicide.

Her 1-year-old child was also inside the home at the time of the murder but was unharmed.

Police said her husband Teddy Mitchell, a bookie, was out of town when his wife's body was found.

No suspect information has been released.
