OKLAHOMA CITY -- A police pursuit that started near Interstate 235 and NW 23rd Street reached speeds of over 75 mph before ending in a crash.
The suspect's vehicle was going too fast when he turned south at NW 23rd and Classen and wrecked into another vehicle, injuring at least one person. The man continued speeding through city streets before crashing into a porch at NW 16th and Virginia. He took off, running for a block before police took him into custody.
A police spokesperson told News 9 the car was taken when the suspect and owner got into a fight. Police are still investigating whether the suspect and owner knew each other.
