OKLAHOMA CITY – A man has been arrested for breaking into and attempting to burglarize two vehicles in a Bricktown parking lot.

According to Oklahoma City police, a man and woman were coming back from seeing a movie downtown when they found the driver's side window of their vehicle had been broken, the door was open and the interior light was on inside the car. The couple also found 28-year-old Cesar Vasquez inside the vehicle.

Police said the man approached Vasquez, punched him in the face and an altercation ensued. The woman called 911 and the man had Vasquez down on the ground holding him when police arrived on the scene.

Vasquez sustained scratches on his hands and a bloody nose from the struggle. Vasquez told police he wanted to press charges against the man, according to police.

The man's car was damaged from the break-in, but he said nothing was taken from it.

Police said another vehicle in the same parking lot that was parked a few spaces away from the car involved in the incident also had a window busted out.

Vasquez was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a second-degree burglary complaint.
