Memorial Service To Be Held At Altus Air Force Base for Staff Sgt.

ALTUS, Oklahoma – A memorial service will be held for Staff Sgt. Andrew Bubacz who died November 12 while deployed in Afghanistan.

The memorial service for the 97th Communications Squadron airman will be November 23 at 3:30 p.m. at the Wings of Freedom Park. The service will be followed by a retreat ceremony at 4:00 p.m. A short reception will follow the retreat ceremony. All Altus Air Force Base personnel and their family members are invited to attend.

The public is welcome to attend, but must contact the 97th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs Office for further information at 580-481-7700 no later than 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, in order to facilitate any required actions.
