EDMOND, Oklahoma -- This time of year, many Oklahoma owned companies give back to their community. Four construction companies pooled together for a $30,000 shopping spree for those in need.

"It's fun to spend money but it's also good to help other people it makes you feel good just to give back," said Trelenza Hogan with TTK and OBC.

Employees from the four different construction companies grabbed wish lists for several different charities, including the Ronald McDonald House, The Infant Crisis Center and Calm Waters, and went shopping Tuesday evening at Edmond's Walmart.

The shopping spree included everything from toys, to hats, coats, gloves, sweaters and everything in between.

"We just hope in some small way that this helps some of these children and families who are in need right now. It's just an opportunity for us again just to give back," said Tim Duit, President of TTK Construction.

The companies loaded up all the gifts in a semi and made the special delivery Wednesday morning.

Duit Construction Company organized the shopping spree along with their other family owned companies, TTK Construction, Oklahoma Bridge Construction and Arbuckle Materials.
