Enid Man Arrested On Drug Charges After Chase

ENID, Oklahoma – Enid police have arrested a man for throwing bags of drugs out of a car window while also leading officers on a chase.

According to Enid police, officers began to attempt to pull over 29-year-old Dywon Kenneth Vaughn after he ran a stop sign at about 12:22 p.m. Wednesday. A chase ensued and officers saw Vaughn throw out small bags, later identified as marijuana, from the car window as he was driving.

Vaughn was eventually apprehended and was arrested on complaints of running a stop sign, driving under suspension, failure to provide insurance verification, attempting to elude officers and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
