OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man has been charged with several counts of rape and kidnapping at least three young girls.
Prosecutors said 52-year-old David Morgan kidnapped and raped at least three children this year using a knife and then a gun against his young victims.
Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater has charged Morgan with 11 felony counts including kidnapping and rape.
Police said Morgan is connected to three kidnappings and assaults in the Oklahoma City area. The first occurred in April when a 12-year-old girl was abducted near N.W. 16th Street and Klein. She was sexually assaulted and dropped off back at her home.
An 11-year-old girl was kidnapped at gunpoint September 29 near S.W. 59th Street and Blackwelder. The suspect in that case also sexually assaulted the girl then released her. A month later on October 28, another 12-year-old girl was abducted while walking to school in the 2800 block of Brookline. She was also assaulted and released.
Morgan's attorneys are scheduled to be in court again on January 6.
