NORMAN, Oklahoma -- The autopsy on a 41-year-old Norman woman found shot to death with her 3-year-old son says she committed suicide.
Wendy Foster and Tripp Foster were found dead Oct. 28 when Foster's 13-year-old son arrived home from school and saw his mother lying in a pool of blood. The 3-year-old's body was found under a blanket on a couch.
The Norman Transcript reports the autopsy by the state medical examiner's office says Wendy Foster shot herself in the neck. It also says no drugs or alcohol were found in her system.
The office reported in November that Tripp Foster died of a gunshot wound to the head and ruled the death a homicide. Police have not elaborated -- but say they are not looking for any suspects in the boy's death.
