LAWTON, Oklahoma -- Comanche County Sheriff Kenny Stradley says investigators have found more bones that are possibly human near where an unidentified woman's skull was discovered earlier this year.
Stradley tells the Lawton Constitution that a person clearing tree limbs near a highway in the Saddle Mountain area spotted the skull on June 12.
Earlier this month, Stradley says about 15 to 20 investigators from various agencies searched the area for the fourth time looking for clues about the woman's identity.
Stradley says the bones found during the latest search will be analyzed by the state Medical Examiner's office to determine if they are human. He says it isn't yet known if the bones found recently belong with the skull.
Stradley hopes DNA analysis will help determine the woman's identity.
