FBI Seeks OKC Bank Robbery Suspect

The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma is asking for the public's help in locating a bank robbery suspect.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma is asking for the public's help in locating a bank robbery suspect.

According to the FBI, at about 1:37 Tuesday afternoon a man approached the counter of the Bank of Oklahoma located inside of the Buy For Less on 23rd Street and Pennsylvania Avenue and presented the teller with a demand note.

The employee complied and the suspect got away on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

No weapon was seen and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6'1" to 6'2" in height, approximately 200 pounds with receding brown hair. He was wearing a gray, short sleeve shirt with "Echo Untld" written in yellow on the front, thick glasses and faded blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery should contact the FBI's 24-hour number at (405) 290-7770. Callers may remain anonymous.

The Oklahoma Banker's Association offers up to $2,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and/or conviction of anyone robbing a member bank.
