'Sooners' License Tag Brings In Several Thousand Dollars For Texas

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The state of Texas auctioned off a vanity license plate with the word "Sooner" on it for $5,000.

The state sold the most sought after plates to raise money for the state, the DMV and charities.

Other popular plates sold included "Big Tex," "Diamond," and "Cowboys."

The highest selling price was $15,000 for the tag "Ferrari."
