OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City woman is fighting for her life after a drive-by shooting early Saturday morning, according to Oklahoma City police.

Oklahoma City police Lt. Dan Stewart said officers were called to investigate a drive-by at 1713 E. Madison in northeast Oklahoma City at about 4 a.m. Saturday but did not find any victims at that time.

Pamela Bolton, who had been sitting on the porch of the residence during the incident, was transported to the detox unit by police after they believed she was intoxicated. However, police said around 10 a.m. on Saturday employees at the detox unit noticed Bolton was bleeding and had been shot.

Bolton was taken to OU Medical Center where she was listed in critical condition Sunday night.

Police have not released any information regarding suspects in the drive-by shooting.
