OKLAHOMA CITY – An elementary student was taken to the hospital after she ran into a car that was not moving.
According to Oklahoma City Public School District Spokesperson Tierney Cook-Tinnin, a 2nd grade girl attending Parmelee Elementary School was in a vehicle near the school with her mother when she got out to go get something and ran into a truck that was not moving.
Cook-Tinnin said the girl was taken to a local hospital to get checked out.
It was originally reported that the child was hit by a car near the school in south Oklahoma City.
