MIAMI, Oklahoma -- The conditions of the victims pulled from an icy Oklahoma river after their SUV went off a bridge are improving.
News 9 live streamed their daring rescue earlier this week.
Three of the five people who survived are in good and fair condition at a Joplin, Missouri hospital. One person is still is serious condition.
There's no word on how the last survivor is doing.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the driver lost control and went over the bridge into the Spring River on I-44 near Miami.
Troopers said the driver, 31-year-old Leonor Alcano, was unable to make it out of the vehicle. He died at the scene from hypothermia. Irma Garcia, 37, was also unable to make it out of the vehicle and died at the scene from hypothermia.
Another passenger, 22-year-old Douglas Monzon, died on the way to the hospital. OHP said Monzon fell into the river while reaching for a blanket rescue crews had thrown him, and that crews reached Monzon about an hour later in the river.
Everyone inside the SUV was heading to work at a mushroom farm in Miami.
