Chickasha Man Dies In Collision With Cow

CANADIAN COUNTY -- A Chickasha man is dead following a collision with a cow in Canadian County Friday morning.

Trooper Barry Spears of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Mark Kent, 56, was northbound on Methodist Road near Reno Ave. when his car struck a cow, departed the roadway to the left and struck trees on the west side of the road. Kent expired at the scene from head injuries.

The weather was clear at the time of the accident.
