LUTHER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reopened both eastbound and westbound lanes of Turner Turnpike at mile marker 151.

Heavy smoke from a grass fire forced troopers to briefly shut down traffic.

Firefighters from Oklahoma City and Luther are still battling the flames along the Oklahoma and Lincoln County line.

Someone first spotted the fire near N.E. 178th Street and Harrah Road around 2:30 p.m.
