Edmond Student Hit By Car After Getting Off Bus

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A 13-year-old Edmond student was injured when the student was hit by a vehicle after getting off the bus Tuesday afternoon.

Oklahoma City Police the school bus was stopped on Pennsylvania Avenue between N.W. 168th and N.W. 174th. The 13-year-old boy got off the bus and ran into oncoming traffic when he was hit by the car.

The driver was not cited.

The student was transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
