5 OKC Elementary Schools To Add 6th Grade

Fifth graders at five different Oklahoma City Schools will stay at their school for one more year. The Oklahoma City School Board voted to add 6th graders to the schools for 2011-2012 school year.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Fifth graders at five different Oklahoma City Schools will stay at their school for one more year. The Oklahoma City School Board voted to add 6th graders to the schools for 2011-2012 school year.

Britton, North Highland, Horace Mann, Chavez and Bodine Elementary Schools will have students through 6th grade next year.

There were already 10 other schools in the district that keep at least some of their 6th graders.
