18-year-old Killed After Crashing Truck In Cache

CACHE, Oklahoma -- An 18-year-old high school senior was killed after she crashed her truck Tuesday, March 15.

Penelope Cable was killed when she lost control of her vehicle in the town of Cache just west of Lawton.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said the wreck happened at about 5 a.m. Tuesday, but no one found the wreckage until two hours later. Troopers say the cause is still under investigation but speed was a factor.

A candlelight vigil is being held for Cable in Lawton Wednesday.
